About Duskbox
Duskbox is a photo planner for landscape and night photographers. It shows when and where the sun, the moon and the Milky Way rise and set behind the real mountains, worked out from terrain data rather than a flat textbook horizon, and gives a 0–100 score for how much colour to expect at sunrise and sunset, up to three days ahead. Terrain and maps download once and keep working with no signal. A catalogue of 43 famous alignments, from Manhattanhenge to the solstice sunrise at Newgrange, gives the next dates and where to stand. Moments, photos and notes can sync across devices through the photographer’s own iCloud or Google Drive. No account, no ads, and no manual needed.
